‘I’m Gill and my yoga journey started over 30 years ago when a teacher tied my legs together in tree pose. Needless to say it was some years before I ventured back to a yoga class!
Since then, I’ve benefitted from the teachings of many gifted teachers in varying styles of yoga practice in the UK. Along with that three months at a Peruvian yoga centre and an amazing local teacher at a community hall in Rishikesh in India, inspired me to want to teach.
My training is through the British Wheel of Yoga. I started with their Foundation Course and went on to complete the Certificate of Teaching. I am currently continuing my studies on to the BWY Diploma. Although it’s been a big commitment whilst working full time, I’ve always had one thing in mind: I want to be able to give my students the best possible experience in my class.’
