Hello Edinburgh Yogis! Want to get that body moving midweek?

Due to the popularity of my Friday night Sports class, I am changing my Wednesday class to be a very similar style of class. 90 minutes of both slow and stretchy Yin mixed with dynamic Yang. The perfect balance for that midweek slump. 🙂

Drawing inspiration from my Forrest training, we will work strongly with the breath and core to build strength, but also work to opening up those troublesome areas in the body such as the back, neck, shoulders, hips and hamstrings. As with the Sports class, we will have a different focus/area weekly and will work on this in all of my weekly classes. So if you are on a pass and can’t make Friday, you can mix and match and join this one instead. Please let me know in advance if you are swapping days as both classes can be busy.

This class will be a playful flow involving different asanas and challenges weekly with a mixture of Yin and Yang Yoga to both strengthen and lengthen the muscles as well as building stamina and general flexibility in the body. The class will vary weekly with sometimes more focus on the Yin and others more focus on the Yang.

The class is suitable for all levels with options and modifications for beginners as well as those wishing to develop their practice further. I look forward to welcoming you on the mat!
