As I am very active and also a keen cyclist and spinning instructor, I have a great interest in teaching yoga to people who do sports as I believe that yoga is a really good complimentary practice for every activity that puts pressure on the joints and tightens the muscles and connective surrounding both muscles and joints.

The Friday night conditioning for sports class will be a mixture of Yin and Yang Yoga. We will start with 45 minutes of Yin to stretch the connective tissue and fascia surrounding the muscles, bones and joints thus helping with more flexibility. Then move onto 35-40 minutes of Yang to build strength in the core and the body. An excellent mix for those who do sports or those who are looking to improve their general fitness.

Prices:

  • £12 drop in (£10 concession)
  • £50 for a block of 5 (£45 conc.)
  • Concession tickets available directly from teacher.
