During the retreat you will have an experience of:

  • Meditative massage

  • Kundalini yoga – yoga of awareness

  • Space for contemplation and journaling

  • Herbal teas, fruit and energy snacks

Every Kundalini Yoga class is different but all will contain similar ingredients of posture, pranayama (breath work), mantra (chanting) and meditation. A regular kundalini yoga practice can help strengthen the nervous system and balances the glandular system, leading to increased emotional stability and physical vitality. It is also a great way to help relieve stress, anxiety, emotional imbalance, physical tension and an overactive mind.

Meditative Massage is a nurturing process of touch and response. On a physical level, massage can help relax tight muscles; improve circulation, nervous function and joint mobility. It can also improve sleep and reduce stress by bringing all the body systems back into balance. Emotionally, massage can provide non-intrusive touch, calming a busy mind and enhancing self-esteem. While at a deeper level, massage can release the personal history stored in the body tissues, leading to powerful changes in energy and providing vital elements in the process of growth.
