Hatha Vinyasa – The Foundations | Wednesdays, 2.30 – 3.30 pm

Led by Stephen Paterson – suitable for beginners and those looking to revisit the foundations.

This class will focus on the foundations of the yoga postures and sequencing. The class will guide you through the fundamental principles of breath, movement, gaze and alignment so students feel safe to explore in a supportive group environment. All levels and abilities will be catered for and as we come to share our practice students will receive attention and modifications to suit there individual needs.

The postures and sequences are similar to that of a Vinyasa flow class but more time and instruction will be given to students whilst in the postures. This allows for a deeper understanding of alignment and brings further awareness to the body.

For this reason it is a really great introduction to Yoga for those looking to explore the form. It will also be of benefit to those who have some experience of Vinyasa flow that want to gain more understanding of postures. Stephen Paterson Yoga Teacher Santosa

Sun salutations, Standing postures, Arm balances, back bends and seated postures will all be explored. Good general form in each posture will be the focus.


£8 a class (£6 unwaged and students) or £35 for a block of 5
