Hatha Flow Yoga for Beginners with Joanna Cole-Hamilton | Thursdays 6.15 – 7.15 pm

These are slow hatha flow classes with yogic breathing, sun salutations, flow sequences, asana (postures) and relaxation.Joanna Cole-Hamilton Shine on Yoga, Edinburgh

This class is open to everyone but will give plenty of explanation and guidance so that beginners can easily take part. We’ll cover some basic teaching points and move fairly slowly.

In this style of yoga we flow from one posture to the next, holding asanas for a number of breaths in between which makes the class meditative, allowing us to become aware of body and mind. Holding asanas steadily is great for strength and flexibility as well as for getting to know yourself. This class is aimed at those wishing to find some calm in their lives and to learn to relax.

Pricing Information:

  • Drop In: £10
  • Block of 4 weeks: £30

Four classes for £30 (to be used within a month) or £10 for a single class.  A term (three months of up to 13 classes) costs £90.  Introductory offer of four classes for £24, must be used within 4 weeks.  Concession price for those who feel unable to pay the full price – £24 for four weeks.
