Smile for Nepal!

In support of the vital work of the Centre for Environment Education Nepal, Santosa are hosting 2 days of fundraising, information and workshops! Please join us at any point through the day and make a difference to the rural people of Nepal.

About ‘Learning for a Change‘  Roy Cameron shares the aims of the Learning for a Change project and explains the importance of working with local communities to impower them to find solutions to the daily problems their families and communities face.

Taking part is FREE OF CHARGE. We ask only for donations in support of projects in Nepal. Please give generously.

Schedule for the day

10.30 – 11.00  About Nepal Scotland Association and the projects it supports in Nepal.

10.45 – 11.15   Traditional music and song of Nepal.

11.15 – 12.00  The Giant Nettle and Lokta; cloth weaving and paper making in Nepal.

12.00 – 1.00  Learn Nepalese Dance with Charan Pradhan of Dance Namaste!

1.00 – 2.00  Music and the Food of Love… traditional foods and music combine.

2.00 – 3.00  Energising Nepalese Dance for all.

3.30 – 5.30  Introduction to ‘The Black Hen’ followed by screening of the film.
