Yin Yang Yoga for Sports with Sharon Iacono
As I am very active and also a keen cyclist and spinning instructor, I have a great interest in teaching yoga to people who do sports. I believe that yoga is a really good complimentary practice for every activity that puts pressure on the joints and tightens the muscles and connective surrounding both muscles and joints.
The Friday night conditioning for sports class is a mixture of Yin and Yang Yoga. The Yin to stretch the connective tissue and fascia surrounding the muscles, bones and joints thus helping with more flexibility and the Yang to build strength in the core and the body. An excellent mix for those who do sports or those who are looking to improve their general fitness.
